As contractors adapt to the digital landscape of the construction industry, the next generation of the workforce needs to be ready to work with these tools. The general session starts with an interview with Patrick Sauermann, dean of Texas A&M school of architecture. Overseeing the largest school of its kind in the United States, Patrick plays a direct role in preparing today’s new hires and shaping tomorrow’s future leaders.

Amy Northcutt, the Director of Education & Outreach at Trimble, will join Patrick to discuss technology’s role in education. The two will address how colleges must prepare students and faculty to learn current building processes and practices.

Patrick C.
